We recently had the premier of our first feature film, The Sunflower Crossroads.

Directed by Clive Nshiime and debuting Bruno Edgard and Nabankema “Nally” Lydia, Sunflower Crossroads is a film on how love bends even the hardest of hearts. The production concept is a homage to our roots as a poetry collective. We experiment with telling a cinematic story through poetry.

The film is based on poems published in Streetlights At Noon Eclipse (Ibua Series 2019), a Ugandan anthology of poems by creatives in the Kampala-based collective, the Lantern Meet of Poets. These poems were featured courtesy of the Lantern Meet Foundation.
